Dan Thompson is a U.S. Navy veteran, who served three tours in Vietnam. He and his wife Cathi have one child, Casey, who is currently attending a federal service academy. Following in his father's armed forces footsteps, upon graduation, Casey plans to enroll in the Navy's flight program to earn his wings of gold.

A pilot for more than 30 years, Dan says that flying is his way of relaxing. Other hobbies he enjoys include scuba diving and photography.

Dan joined the Florida facility after spending more than 20 years in the recreational vehicle industry. He has always held Marathon Coach in high regard as the benchmark of the bus conversion industry and looks forward to meeting current and future Marathon coach owners.

"From the first day I came to work for Marathon I felt like I found my second home and it is very evident that most of Marathon's customers have the same feeling," Dan says. "It is a great feeling to look forward to coming to work everyday."
